Description
At only 11mm long, I first thought this was a fly of some sort.
I had never seen a bee that small, much less a green one.
This is a female Sweat Bee - Agapostemon texanus,
The male has a black and gold striped abdomen.

Oh wonderful, another variety of insect I've never heard of or seen before. Maybe I should just stick to aircraft and automobiles.
