An image taken last year in the UK, a fish eagle, I think it was.
Not the best resolution, as I recall it was quite cropped.
For my brother, Jürgen, who passed away yesterday.
God rest your soul, bro. Fly high and free.

I stopped here because of the title and the thumbnail. I had two brothers pass away a few years back, both of whom adored eagles. The thumbnail drew me in, but when I read as to why this post, my heart saddened for you. I'm so sorry for your loss, but this is a really great tribute to your brother. I've come to learn that, in my brothers case, their spirit can now soar free, like the bird they loved so much. This has a special meaning for me, and because of that, I'm very greatful that you posted it. I will burn a candle for your brother tonight, and pray for you and your family. Please take good care!!
