Now for something different!
I went to Death Valley, CA in March of this year. I got a lot of really cool shots, but just haven't had the time to post any yet. So here's one, shot at Salt Creek in Death Valley. The spring rains sometimes make the waters rise and overflow into a vast area of riverbed that is completely dry all summer (120F tends to do that). So in the spring after the rains the overflow areas start to dry up and leave these beautiful abstract mud puzzles. This one I decided to go with sepia tones, although the color is very similar to the actual color of the mud.
