UPDATED: September 19, 2010
Hi, My name is Bill and I am updating my homepage to reflect a wonderful event in my life...marriage, September 18, 2010, to my best friend Tara...known to many of you as auntietk here on Renderosity.
We "met" shortly after I joined Renderosity in August 2008. We share a love for photography and indeed all types of art.
We live north of Seattle and enjoy getting to share photographic excursions and information with other Renderositians ( is "Renderositians" even a word? ). LOL
As for me, it seems like I've been taking pictures all my life but I didn't get serious enough to purchase my first Digital Single Lens Reflex (DSLR) camera until May 2008. In May 2009 I upgraded from an Olympus E-510 to an Olympus E-30 with a wide variety of lenses.
My subject areas of interest include absolutely everything but with a frequent return to airplanes, cars, tanks, etc., ...or as Tara says, machines that make lots of noise;-)
If you are curious, I am pictured above in a Grumman Corsair on a taxiway of the Kansas City Downtown Airport. I used to fly and train others to fly airplanes. That will explain my frequent forays into the world of aviation. Last but by no means least, thanks to Pannyhb for introducing me to Renderosity. The moment I saw it I was hooked.
Fine print: Yes, the photo above is a photo manipulation:-)

How fun! She's got all day, apparently. Nice shot!

another great capture. If so many different birds live nearby, your air pollution must be very low!

fantastic capture.. I uploaded a photo today :-)

Fatten that beauty up. Excellent capture. There are a couple of these types in the yard now calling back and forth to each other. Forestry service has suggested that all bird feeders be taken down for a few weeks.. Bears are getting active. Two were on Sis-in-laws deck, took the feeder with them. I guess all the birds have gone to your house. ;-). T'is the season for bears in the woods and bikinis on the lake... I prefer the lake.

LOL Wonderful capture. Our doves don't seem at all interested in the seeds, preferring live bugs. I wonder if she's enjoying her new "nest". It was so easy to find.

He's so beautiful and I can see you feed him well. :-) I have noticed a few more birds than usual around my house but that will stop soon when the neighborhood cats find the last of the nests on the block. Seems we only are able to keep birds of prey, crows, Jays, gulls and a pair of mockingbirds in our area year-round thanks to raiding cats. I'll enjoy them while I can and the great thing is, next year, they'll make more nests and I'll have about 3 months of excitement until they disappear again. :-) This is a wonderful shot.

Behavior hardly befitting a dove! Another prime example of the "ME generation." Other than that, a superb shot, with all the photographic accouterments, in this one, Bill.

Another great shot of a Dove! One that HAS decided that IT is going to have all the seed! Tried to find out which Species it was but no luck. Not a Collared Dove. Could be a Barbary Dove? Not sure.... But well done again. Rob.
