Description
The GSS Bernard Reimann is now stranded in the Gliese system due to the failure of the Tesseract drive. A shuttle is sent down to investigate giant crystals and stone ruins on the surface of Gliese 581e, but more misfortune hits the landing crew as engine failure causes the craft to collide with one of the towering crystals. The craft plows into the mudlike terrain with the crew unhurt, but the shuttle will never take off again. One of the stranded crew has decided to rename Gliese 581e Dahlhaus, after the 20th century musicologist Carl Dahlhaus.
Modeling in Bryce 6, except for the ruins by Baumgarten and Azer.
This was my entry for the Bryce Challenge last month.
