I know..I know.... 2 images in a row..Like holy cow Batgirl!! But saw the first of my Peony buds starting to open today and thought I would get a capture of it before it bloomed and the wind and rain got it later this afternoon......... A good thing I got it when I did....for about 5pm we had a horrendous storm...electric went out..ambulances were going crazy....Winston was barking........T.V. would go off and on due to the weather and it being a satellite dish as well...Went to get some soft drink and 2 houses down at the historical home a huge 100 yr old tree is uprooted...ball, roots, and all...more all up and down the highway...A roof blew off one home......and were still under a Thunderstorm warning until 12 midnight tonight...They said we would get hit hard again..... I am gonna get one of the peony starting to open..and open...and have done one in dumper.net the amazing circle......... Found a new lil program I am downloading and hoping to get the hang of it.......it's called Paintnet.....Have you all heard of it...and if so what and where are some links......... Hubby got to sign up for Unemployment again today........and picked up his check...they told him to come back in Oct and re apply and they would hire him for the Holiday Season..just like I told him...so we won't starve.... I got my $250 stimulis check today..for me it looks like they could of paid us $500 if they could pay $250 but I am satisfied with what I got..Put some money in the bank to go on a good used washing machine if we can find one........ Please continue to keep me in your thoughts and prayers.... All post work done in PSP9... Did one fix photo....removed noise...sharpened the image...added some hue and saturation,added two borders one pink,one green, and the text Ty for any comment you care to leave..... And thank you for those of you favorited my First Iris..it means a lot to me.........all of your comments do........ Hope you all like this one............ That bud is going to be gorgeous when it opens up. I hate to burst your bubble, truly, but that "stimulus check" will be taken out of your next federal tax return. We really aren't getting anything out of it, but if you have a need for it, then go for that washing machine. Just be aware of the fed plans to do later on with your tax return, if you get any.

A good job you got this before that storm hit, it sounds as though it was pretty severe. Such a shame when the trees blow over after all that time taken to grow. A lovely capture and I hope you have a happy weekend.

Beautiful work; check craigslist.com for a washer, that's the best place to find what you need. Or even better, freecycle.com, you can get stuff for free that people are getting rid of....

ohhhhh...this little bud is sooo pretty....excellent capture hon....sorry to hear about all the storms....we went thru that last week with lots of flooding.....we are just now drying up somewhat... lots of love, Carol
