Ever believe in another world? Ever wonder if the things you think of in your mind exist, the things that seem like they could never be? Maybe they do. Maybe that world that you think you imagined is real. The only problem is, how does one get there?Â
Through pictures one can create their perfect world. In stories one can tell about it. And even if one does not have their own world, they can see others, and share with them that experience.
I am a witer. Although I am not great at art work, I still like to see the worlds of others. A small glimpse into another's mind. Sometimes it makes you question existance.
Now tell me, Have I made you question yours?
Now here is a question for you to ponder. What is the difference between the quiet one and the silent one?

Wonderful picture, almost nostalgic in Black & White. Interesting poem. Hope you're doing better

Nice photo and very touching poem. I can relate to your words though from your picture you appear too young to be so down - wait till you get my age and have really had your share of ups and downs. But you find the strength in you if you find it anywhere at all. The world is full of contradictions and truth is an elusive things. Best to be in the moment and let the past be the past and the future be what may. :O)

One time or another, we all wish to be home...wherever and whenever that is. The sun rises and a new slate is ready to be written upon.

well, sorry that your day wasn't very uplifting, though your poem captures your mood well...and the photograph, though dark and pensive, has a real sense of the delicacy of the street, even with the gray tones and muted light. It's said that art transcends even our darkest moods; and a dark photograph can communicate much vision. This gray photograph shows a lot of sensitivity & grace; if I were there at that moment, I'd wish I could grant you strength to move through the sadness & always hold the grace, as it will take you to the ends of the world...fine pensive shot of a difficult place to capture. Your camera is more articulate with each posting...
