Description

This is a rough idea that's going into an ad for a client presentation. It's pretty rough but will give the client an idea what it will look like without me wasting time on a finished piece. This is my first render in Lightwave, I use to use Carrara. Thanks to everyone who helped me out with my posted questions. Hopefully I will get to finish the fun projects that i do for myself. I hope to post my alien "ZOOK" soon. Again, thank you so much for your help. Pete

Are yu using ground fog to make the buildings fade off into the depths?

I used ground fog initially, but there was too much of a sharp edge. I also needed dead space for a headline in the bottom right. I ended up using a depth of field channel and sprayed a white airbrush in photoshop into a controlled area (bottom right). I also used a regular for to show distance. Again, this is just a comp, if the client approves, I'll have some more modeling/texturing to do, as well as a tighter render!
