Description

This scene was created and rendered in Carrara with the exceptions of the figures and the lion statues from Poser. There was an extra warrior at the bottom of the steps creating a "face off", but when I added the texture, my machine died out! Heavy photoshop was used to create the final touches on the warriors face, hair and body. Any feedback is greatly apprieciated! Thanks guys for everyones help! Petes

I give you the highest rating! Really great texture and lighting, as well as composition of space and figures. You've got to get a bigger-faster computer, I'd love to see that second figure, lol.

I really like this image! It is worth to be a cover for a fantasy novel. I would like to see a larger version too.

Great lighting and setup! I think it's even more dramatic without the second warrior -- the darkness in the lower half of the image sort of adds to the mystery.

This is great! I am still trying to get a good sphere! I agree with skipping the second figue- it makes you wonder what he is facing in the darkness! This is one of those images I would love to look at the carrara file to see how it is put together.

Excellent. I agree with Staby. Especially like the rendering quality, the torches, and the setting. I could rave on!

Very good rendering, I'm an actually modeler, so I'm not much for poser renders, but great job nontheless.

Hey Petes, generally i hate the imported figure of poser, but in your case the things are very different. This is really amazing, good work.
