Description

A July evening at the Hollow .. soon there will be firelflies galore at the Hollow. A magical sight, fireflies like little fairy lights all over the place! They fly up over the tree tops, sometimes you think you've seen a shooting star only to realize it was a firefly! This is djeaton's J4GC script, I don't remember if it was a 3D script or if I changed it. In any case, this and many other scripts for Apophysis can be found at Deviant Art in the fractal resources section. Go to bpclarke's homepage at her gallery, and click on Artist's Input to find her blog. She has wonderful tips and tricks there for Apo users, including how to change Apo scripts so the will run on the 3D hacks. Thank you all for stopping to see the previous post, "Ruffled" and for leaving such marvelous comments! You all know how I love reading your thoughts and reactions! Thank you for all the faves as well.

Very beautiful. One of those fascinating images that one can see so much more in if one looks closely. Personally, I see an angel protecting an unborn child.

You don't really need for the firefly season to see such beauty, just don't eat for a while and wait until you faint, the sparkles will be all around you :-D Great image Rita, love the silver and gold combination!

Love your lightning bug! We used to collect them in jars and they would light our dark room. We always let them go after an hour or so. :) Thanks for the memory :D

This is exactly how they look, those tiny little fireflys, when they glow in the dark. A truely nice and energetic sighting.
