Thank you for stopping by and for viewing my work. I am a mother of three wonderful stepchildren, a wife to a loving and supportive husband, and I also work full time. I have no formal training in art, but from a young age wanted to be an artist. The problem was I wasn't any good at drawing or painting. I couldn’t translate from my brain to the paper/canvas what I saw.  I did have other talents, singing is a passion of mine, I sing in the shower and car every day. (grins) I also dabble with stain glasswork, scrapbook, stamping, embroidery, needlepoint and the list goes on.
December 2006 I found Daz Studios and for the first time was able to at least get some of the images I saw in my head out. But it wasn't as easy as it seemed. Nothing good ever is. I started posting images on Renderosity and met some wonderful people who invited me to join a group of people who all used Daz Studios and so my learning increased. We now have a wonderful forum called Daz Artist Guild dedicated to helping people who want to improve their skills using Daz Studios.Â

As much down time as you've had I figured the 'ole muse would be in overdrive. Mine keeps burning itself out. Signs of life are good enough though Kim. Nice image, really like her pose and the object she's sitting on.

One thing I noticed, you can force it . Even trying sometime make her go back into hiding, the muse I mean. A break is a break not the end but I like what you did her, or was it your muse? The glass block in a rather unusual environment!

Wonderful work! So good to see you! I know all about absent muses, but looks like yours poked her head up long enough to inspire this great image :) I really like the glass block and that red out, very cool.

We've all been there. You definitely have the right idea: Keep trying stuff until the spark ignites again. I hope this image did it for you, it is excellent! I love the posing, and colors. And that transparent box thing is intriguing. Great job!

I like the fact that you at least found it good enough to post. Her pose is rather suggestive I dare say... better not read much more into this one or I'll get myself into trouble. It would be intresting to see you revisit this later. Keep up the good works!~
