Description

I planted this seed on March 31st. It was in a Grow Your Own Christmas Tree Kit. There were twelve seeds and this is the only one that grew. It is about 1" tall right now. I am so excited! To be able to grow a tree from a seed is absolutely awesome to me and so of course I just had to share:-) This is a Spruce Tree. Be sure to zoom!!! Yesterday was our inspection so I can finally relax for a minute and maybe get out to take some pictures. There is a huge groundhog that travels through our yard and I am hoping I can lure him so I can get some closeups. Two years ago he was only about a foot away from me and sat there while I talked to him...but I had no camera:-( Well. now I do and I am determined to get a pic of him! what a wonderful adventure ! Be careful and protect it from your crazy squirrels :-) They would be able to eat it ! I wish you could see a very old christmas tree in your backyard some years ago ! Nice clear shot !
