BIO
This site is a collaboration between myself and Alexander Graham. Alex is someone who answered my call from a place, though far away, so close to my heart, and we work together towards the same goals with a shared vision of a better world, not just for a chosen few, but for everyone, everywhere. And we work for an understanding that there are other points of view and other opinions, and that open debate, along with all the other principles America was founded on, is what turns that diversity of perspective and prejudice into a strength instead of a weakness. That is what our work is devoted to: a better world for our children's children's children.Thank you for taking the time to visit.. Alexander and Lynn

Very interesting, Lynn. Very characterful roots - like a probing machine - and a great title for this too. I have a one that looks just like a clawed hand.

Interesting picture. Funny how some trees grow to get around stuff.Nice shot Lynn

What an interesting capture, the tree roots are reaching to get more depth! I have just "Googled" a groundhog as i thought it was a small pig like animal and on seeing a photo on Google, its definitely not! We live and learn!!

Very neat! And so much to see here, three types of chain link fencing showing different age as well.

It Looks alive.:) This one makes me think of my younger days when me and some friends would walk through Central or Prospect parks in NYC and scare ourselves, thinking the tree roots and misshaped branches were snakes and stuff like that. I love the way you look at nature; most would have walked right pass and not taken the picture. More like this please

Wow, what an unusual formation! It does appear to be reaching, with a crabbed old arthritic wrist...great capture!

This is such a fascinating shot. It does look like it's reaching out for help.

Looking this photo, I thought at "Prigione" by Michelangelo... it's a statue where a man tries to "liberate" from the marble that imprisons! Great capture, Lynn! :)

Indeed so it seems to be nice idea and capture!

Fantastic and interesting shot, Lynn. The roots search for water. And keep the tree in balance. Two good reasons, to do.... what they do. That's the true art of mother nature.#:o)+5
