Description

The path through life is never straight, nor easy. We press on, and with each new dawn lies a new segment of it. With each turn we gain strength. Sometimes the path grows dark and cold, but if we persist and just keep moving on, we soon come back into the warmth and light. May you paths never have more curves than you can handle, and be lit through most of your journey. Your friend , Cheri Elfin12u helped go over this and make sure I didn't make spelling errors , for this was hard to write. He also added some.

This shot kind of reminds me of Neil Diamonds "He ain't heavy, he's my brother". The starting lyrics are " The road is long, with many a winding turn ". It's become one of my favorite songs, since losing two of my brothers some five years back, sorry....got a bit carried away. I came here, trying to find me again about a year and a half ago, thinking maybe if I got re- involved with art things would be so much better. Then I got to know all of the artists here, hearing all about their joys, and their sadness and concerns. During that time I've seen new artists post their first, and others post their last. This is such a unique place, more like one large caring family, than a bunch of individuals clamoring for attention. I love you all, and now find that I cannot help but share in the joyous moments, and saddened by those more somber. Life is so short, sometimes it seems too short, and know one on earth knows how long their time here will be. No one ever said that life would be easy, just that it would be, and we will most likely never be remembered once we are gone, for what we did, but how we made others feel. Today is a gift to you, what you do with it is your gift back, and there is no promise of another day tomorrow. This is a wonderful tribute, Im glad she was able to dry her tears enough to actually post. Thank you for your time, and for being a part of our lives. Take good care, may your paths be ever bright.
