Description
Trying to put together and small home studio making my own equipment; light stands, lights, backdrops and so on. I really enjoy playing with light as you are only held back by your own imagination and of course a dispirit need for something to shot, apart from that the possibilities are end less. Once you’re in the dark with your camera, tripod, what ever light source you’re using and what ever you’ve choose to shot; hours turn in to minutes, it’s hard to stop shooting because just a small move from this light or that one just might be what you’re looking for, you know; a master peace, LOL. One night last week I started shooting at 10:00PM and finished looking at the last image on the computer at 4:00am I’m to old for that but what great fun! I put together some odds and ends to learn more about the lighting not intending to post anything. But the more I shot and the more I worked with the light the more I liked this miss fitted montage of stuff. Thank you for stopping by and for any comments you care to leave, Have a great weekend!!

It's very warm and personal. Lights and lighthouses. A great beginning.

Oh, I like it a lot. And guess what...I've done the same thing...pulling an all nighter fiddling with "painting with light". You've assembled a neat grouping of goodies here. I'll have to give this another go one of these days...I mean nights:)

It looks like it belongs like this in someone's house... 50 years ago or more. Stellar lighting and composition.

Fantastic capture. From practice I know a bit difficult to capture a candlelight and not blow out and manage to get a dim mood at a same time. You did excelent.
