Description

After months of my computer barely clinging to life, limping along with problem after problem slowly accumulating, I did the hard thing and reformatted it. Got a new video card and some memory in the process. And while those improvements haven't significantly decreased my render time (my computer is so old that it can't benefit from any more upgrades), it has made things much more stable. So I reinstalled all the Poser and Vue stuff I've collected over the last year and a half (took me 6 hours to re-install it all....awful, awful hassle), and I thought I'd try out Vue 6 Pro Studio again. I've avoided it for a long time because my computer was so buggy and kept crashing on it. I did this as a first test to see if Vue 6 would crash or give me problems like it used to when my computer was ill. It didn't. I has a happy. Just two terrains (one flipped), some rocks as an ecosystem, a tree, and M4 sitting there. Nothing fancy.

Thanks. Yeah man, the computer situation has been bad for a while. I haven't fixed it up to now mainly because I didn't want to re-install all those hundreds and hundreds of Poser things. It took forever. Not terribly fun.

It looks great. I've found 7 Complete to be much more stable than 6 Pro Studio is for me, but it's a project by project thing.

I'd love to have Vue 7. Don't have the funds right now. I've been watching some training videos on it and I'm in love with it.

A most excellent render and I am very happy for you that you were able to improve the life support for your computer! I know from experience what you have gone through. I have nursed many a computer along with the reformatting and re-installs! Gives me the willies just thinking about it!
