My real name is Markus. I live in Germany in a little town between Chemnitz an Plauen - i don't think somebody knows ;-).
Last year I buy me a Nikon D40 and now I be able to take much more pictures as before. The macros I shared are all freehand-shots.
If you intrested in some more details, don´t be shy to ask.

This is wonderful, Markus! That barn on the horizon is sited rather unsympathetically with its landscape, typical of many farms.

Although the panorama of images stitched together is a good technical achievement, this shot is rather overexposed, uninteresting and flat. The trees are all immersed in some kind of haze, the landscape is all of the same trees. Mind you, it is difficult being one of the few on this site that ever offers actual critique, as evidenced by the numerous "wonderful work", "great work", "excellent work" regurgitations present. If artists want to grow, they should accept honest critique from their peers, and also understand that critique comes from friendship or admiration when it is spelled out and explained. You know this of me despite our linguistic differences, and that is why I offer my honest opinion. I wish others would do the same on this site, but sadly so many fall into the "Hug Club" trap. My advice for this shot: A more interesting point of view- some angle that brings the bridge and the landscape into contrast with each other. Presented here is just a bunch of trees in haze, albiet in a panorama... So when choosing a panorama, look for something with a variety of depth changes, colour changes, something more than just an area you happen to visit. Above all, don't let the camera decide how to meter light outdoors- its never good for artistic shots- only good for captures.
