Description

The little one is yours truly and the grown up is my late Father, God bless him! Major G.B.Duffy MC.RE.SOE. A great war hero, who worked in Albania in secret during the war with of all people. Anthony Quayle, Anthony Quinn & Gregory Peck, all of whom were operatives in the famous SOE, the forerunner of the world reknowned, SAS. Apparently, this is well documented, thanks to Steve (aka Pops) who tells me the guns of navarone was a true account of a real incident that happened during the war. Thanks for stopping by. I have moved close to 2 tons of gravel with Cathy, to fill a concrete base which used to be a greenhouse. My back is throbbing, but I love the way it looks. I wonder what my Father and Mother would think? lol If anyone would like to read more, I have scans of a newspaper article and also an american magazine. Two very fine men. One very fine grandfather. And one fine dad. Not stopped to think about what he might of thought about Dylan as i know he would of been very proud as he was of all his boys! He is missed very much!
