Description


Warwick Castle is situated on a sandstone bluff at a bend of the River Avon. The river, which runs below the castle on the east side, has eroded the rock the castle stands on, forming a cliff which made it a natural defence.. The Castle is over a 1000 years old and was built in 1068 and I think one of the finest in the British Isles.. Thanks for taking time to view and any comments etc you care to make
