Description

"Sister of the Dead" reprised actually. I wasn't happy with the first attempt...to caricature I thought. This version is closer to what I wanted, more Castlevania. For some strange reason I couldn't get the displacement maps to work properly for the Vladimir texture...it seems that the UberEnvironment doesn't like displacement settings as it rendered them all dark black wherever they were used so I had to turn them off. There were tons of lights used in this scene and I have come to realize that I tend to use more lights when going for a darker environment than when I do a full lit daylight scene when I normally only use The UberE and one distant light. Thanks for looking. This turned out just outstanding!!! I liked the original, but glad you did a typical artist thing and not leave rest something you knew should be better. Sorry you went through so much trouble, the lighting is amazing.

Fantastic! I've found the same with Vlad using the UE; had to do the same. Absolutely love this piece-very much Castlevania in theme and scheme!
