I began working in Poser Artist (4) in 2006. At that time I was focused on learning and generally created pieces based on the Tarot. In my explorations of cg art I came upon Renderotica which also lead me here and to Daz. Since Daz was free, I gave it a try to see if my computer could handle it. It did for the most part. I’ve stuck with Daz Studio since.
My early work explored all the various aspects of my self. I’m very inspired by Frida as you’ll clearly be able to see as I’m able to fill my gallery. Like so many others, I longed to be able to expand as an artist and be able to do more. I wanted those things on my wish lists. ;-D So when I noticed that I had people reacting very passionately about my FemDom work and requesting I do more of those, I decided to direct my focus there and put together a gallery at Erotic Illusions.
That has worked out well for me. I get regular commissions. I’ve done two book covers for the very talented erotica writer, M. J. Rennie, and I was even able to expand into Second Life and build a couple of galleries there. I get to make enough money to keep nipping away at the ever growing wish lists. ;-D I’m grateful to have the work for sure.
Since the theme of my work is what it is, I never thought to utilize my gallery space here. I wouldn’t always want to be pressed up against the TOS. At this point though… since for me, part of what the FemDom comes out of is my recovery from sexual abuse. It gives me a way to vent in a healthy way. That can sometimes simply be just too heavy. I need a place where I’m free of that, and the rest of who I am can be expressed. Utilizing my gallery space here and getting to connect with the other wonderful artists - even if it is only to leave a simple, “I love this one!†gives me a much needed break from my job and allows the rest of me to get some fresh air.
