Description

The original bush came to the USA at some unclear time generations ago. My mother got her bush from her mom and hers from hers. While my mother is deceased and her rose is long gone, my cuttings are developed into a wild creeper climber we try to control. The lovely pink blossoms have gentle fragrance. The bush will be completely complimented with roses quite soon. Now, it is about one third in bloom. For me, with no green thumb, the photo is not so much gallery quality as joy in survival and memory.

Nice story - I like old rose varieties so much more than modern hybrids and it good to hear about people keeping them going. It looks a lovely healthy plant and I bet the fragrance is heavenly.
