I miss alleys like this...I have fond memories of stumbling through similar passages and maze-like pathways, usually following voices singing drunkenly in Czech. The earth tones are fantastic, as is the POV. Super work!

wonderful seen, ana! it has such a nice and kind mood, i makes me smile and want to go along there! we have some of these little streets around here too, in old parts of the city, but they are very rare, i love them all the more :)))

your sculptural background comes out in so much of your work, ana... this photograph was stunning the first time I saw it, and it's still stunning now. The lines are dramatic, the light in the opening is dramatic, and I love how you let the left-side wall dominate so much of the shot: You really made us feel the power and dominance of alley-walls. Beautiful capture of detail too, and I love those stairs! I'd come to Lisboa just to see that place... It's lovely to be here again...I can't catch up on everything, but you know how much I love your work. Powerful & deep shot. (Next time, I'll try to write in Portuguese!)
