Super stylish and creative work!!!!! I love watercolors and this one is fantastic!!!! Beautiful delicate colors and nice bold lines!!!!!I love the sylized couple...excellent sense of scale distortion that really works!!!!! Lends the work a mysterious feel... Who are they observing??? Where are they from?? I think you can tackle any medium with awesome results!!!!!!!

This is stunning and moody. I love the stylized nature of the drawing, the crisp definition of the lines, but they're not so well defined as to be limiting and over-sharp. I like the questions raised by this, the fact that they're observers as the title implies opens an entire world full of questions, and well...the science fiction bug in me loves the fact that they appear human but somewhat off...those long necks, serene, almost bovine faces...the matching patterns of their clothing...it's all deliciously alien in the right light, and also wonderfully ambiguous in that the art itself stands so wonderfully in that hazy space between genres. Is it stylized portraiture, gothic mood-work, some strange exploration of xenography, or something completely and utterly unimaginable? I love it when art raises those sorts of questions, and greets the eye with a wonderfully complex and compelling puzzle, even if the intention is simply to show something pretty.

Very nice! I agree with claude19, in that it reminds me of a 50s "modern" style in it's simplification and emotion , except for those great shirts.

Yeah, I too get an 'old' style vibe; they're like aliens - just staring and very odd. For me I find when you don't personalize the figures - like with definite faces/personality that the images are more universal, across all cultural and sexual limits.
