Description

Tentative explorations of some of TG2's functions. These are the same terrains that I used in Fractal landscape, with a few minor tweaks. All settings are mine. Terragen 2 (free version), compositing, some colour correction and signature in PSP. Thanks for looking - any comments you care to leave are always appreciated. Craig

I saw a photo just like the top one on Richardphotos gallery earlier on (Grand Canyon). I like the moody image at the bottom too.

Wow they are both fantastic in different ways!!!! Majestic canyon is reminiscent of Grand Canyon with a beautiful sky!!!! The lower one looks like the mountains out of a JRR Tolkien novel!!!!! Excellent work!!!!!!! Incredible and intense!!!!!

Amazing realism! I especially love the top view. The second one is lovely and moody. Superb terrain work. I've yet to try Terragen. I really like what you do with it.

The top could be the Grand Canyon... beautifully done. Vast land there. The bottom almost looks like a distant planet/moon. Excellent on both

The top view has a painted, picture post-cardy look. Very cool atmosphere, really brings the eye into the space. The bottom image looks like a space station wouldn't seem out of place here. A somber simplicity. Amazing how the same landscapes can look/feel quite different according to the lighting and perspective. Well done!

With a new computer I'll start using TG 2...I have one now...I just haven't set it up yet...TG 2 is a different program and requires different thinking....I don't know if I'll ever get there....you did good!

Hi Craig always reminds me of Arizona when the word "Desert" is mentioned then I look to see is it the same hot and dry the bottom one looks a bit cooler lol wonderful work warm hug, Linda
