Description

Hi there! I know it's been a while; but here I am. With the hopes to get more into the swing of uploading more photos, now that Spring has finally sprung. After work yesterday I mosied outside with my camera, in search of shooting something, and I saw this Bluejay hiding in my apple tree. I took a few shots, then suddenly it came out of hiding and perched and posed for me so nice. I wanted to pat his little head and thank him. :) There was a Red Cardinal nearby, it would have been cool to capture that beauty in the blossoms, but no such luck -- not yet anyway. Hope you are all doing well -- and thank you so much for stopping by. I will be visiting your gallerys very soon (rain is predicted tomorrow LOL) ... so, maybe I'll see ya then! Till then, tah tah! Shari

He is a handsome fellow, and a lot better looking than the ones we have here. I can't wait to see a Cardinal. I love Cardinals!

Don't sit under the apple tree, with anyone else but me... It's been more than a while...it's actually been eons since you last graced our fair website with your photos and comments, young lady. Anyway, you've presented us with a gorgeous and exquisite composition in this shot of the demure bluejay sitting amidst your apple tree, Sharilyn.

Great shot. I have a place where I put out about a dozen peanuts each day for the ones that have built nests in my tree out front. By mid-summer they will be very used to me and their feeding schedules so I hope to get a few good shots. This is a bit different from the type jay we have around here.

A truly wonderful shot! I'm sure if you're patient you will catch that cardinal in the tree sometime.

Welcome back. Glad to see that you're finally experiencing spring. Great capture of this little guy. I saw a blue-jay while workng a couple of days ago. He was near our dumpster. Wouldn't have made as nice a shot as yours.

Man, is that ever pretty! It really takes my breath away. I don't think I would have the presence of mind to work the camera in this beauty!
