Description

Same bird captured in two sequential photographs and combined to show the bend at the hips, "get ready" position followed by the "immediate takeoff". Airborne shot shows the blur of acceleration. Thanks for stopping by and all your very supportive and helpful comments. Bill:)

Terrific hybrid composition of the bluejay at rest, followed by a takeoff similar to a JATO launch, or a McDonnell Douglas AV-8B Harrier V/STOL jet taking off, Bill. Really a unique concept!

I love how you are doing these, you make them very special. I'm curious about the bowl though, does it not topple over when a larger bird sits on it or is it a heavy one.
