Description

Taking a break from the Earthwood story arc. Princess Jasmine Grimslade (see the portrait of the same name) This is the daughter of Rhale and Sapphire Grimslade. She's an epic level paladin and has psionic powers like her mother, but still has a ways before she can match her mother's fine control and power. She was born with white wings. Catching up to her fast is Renkai, her best friend. He's a kirin, a very wise and powerful companion indeed. Kirin are born in the open sky, and even when it looks like they are walking, their hooves never touch the ground. Thanks very much for stopping by to meet the princess!

This princess has a quite evident determination coming out of her eyes and face, to match her beauty and well-carried armoring. Her wings are obviously battle-scarred, making them less than "perfect" and far more interesting. You could do a compelling take of her going into battle alongside her parents. Clad with this armor, or less armor ... or even nothing at all! I have to say, though, that the kirin just doesn't do anything for me, and comes across as a distraction. She's telling a tale just in her appearance, but his does need an explanation. If this were part of sequential art meant to tell a yet broader story, it might be more effective.
