Description
A pretty unoriginal title I know...
I spent absolutely FOREVER on this image and it still didn't come out how I had pictured it. This is 3 renders composted together in Photoshop CS3.
The initial initial of the model, background, clothes, and a transparent blue cloak (which was later removed) rendered at lightning speed. Or close enough. Then when I hid the model and tried to render a shot of just the clothes (so I would have a template to cut out pieces of the image) my PC would hang up. Every single time. I'd set the thing to render overnight, wake up, and found it half done and frozen. I tried for about a week with the same results EVERY time. Why my PC didn't hang while rendering the whole image I don't know.
I finally decided to remove the cloak and just left the "magic suit". Eventually I had to render it in three different pieces; the empty clothes and background, another of just the model, and a third of just the clothes. As I said, all that and it still falls a bit short of what I wanted. She was originally going to have a cloak swirling in front of her, turning her transparent where it covered her body. But the darn DAZ morphing clock just wouldn't "swirl" properly. Grrr...
Not to mention the crappy resolution I had to save it at so it would fit here at R'Osity...
