Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

Fine POVs depicted in this lovely collage, Maz! The ceiling in the second photo looks virtually abstract in texture. You must have been in a state of pure nirvana during your stay there.

Great place to sit aside and listen for that still, small voice. Glad you did that. Well done.

Nicely photographed. I haven't seen this church since it was moved. I agree with goodoleboy, it does look a bit abstract. Glad you got to photograph it. Aloha

You've definitely caught one of the more distinct bits of flavor around. Both shots of this church seem so alive and vibrant. I have no doubt that it's peaceful; there is a calm sense to it, but it's so visually exciting too. Great work!
