Hi Sonya - I too have lost my Dad at a very young age (27) ... I look at his pics and I'm older than him. sortu like that scene in the movie "Field Of Dreams", a slightly older son playing catch with his Father ... it's beautiful and surreal at the same time. I really appreciate your work. It's very thought provoking and that bird to me symbolizes LIFE ... or looking back at it ... maybe, a "goodbye look" -Julian

a very touching remembrance of your father, filled with love & illumination. Once again, your colors are beautiful, you have real light in them; the flowers seek light while they also give light; the fence feels like a cross and is also luminous; and the bird is a beautiful "crown" to the piece, sitting there with beautiful light on it, and telling us that this early morning scene is harbinger to great light to come. What better way to remember a beloved soul on the anniversary of his passing. Quite touching. And I appreciate the comments & dialogue that it inspired as well.
