Description

This is one of my favorite blue jays...they are always up to something and are relatively easy to photograph...they are big and they stay around without running off all the time. This is a two photograph blend of the same bird taken in sequence a split second apart. He gets ready on the left...hops and lands on the bowl in one simple move. This jay looks like he is wearing eye glasses:-) Two other examples of same technique: 1. Exit Stage Right as posted May 22nd. 2. Jay Takeoff as posted May 20th. Hope you like this...tried some blurring but it didn't work out to my satisfaction. Thanks for all your comments and favorites!!! Bill:)

Stellar blending in this fabulous composition, Bill. I thought at first there were actually two bluejays in the image. You must have your camera set up on a tripod.

An astonishing shot. Just wonderful with a story told without words. Such a fabulous shot! I have some jay shots I'll post later. Our jays look much different than these.

Doing great with this bird stuff bud, I really need to get my hands on a longer lens, fancy doing some of this too, mind you, here in the UK, our birds are really drab and uninteresting, maybe they should stand for parliament, those people are also drab and uninteresting LOL...lovely shots here my friend.
