Description


I snapped off this shot while visiting Namibia in March. It isn't really clouds in the sky but rather puffs of fog. Because of the hot desert and the cold sea current, the coast is traditionally foggy the whole day. It is the fog that keeps many animals and plants alive in the Namib. It can push into the desert overnight for 80 km or more. Oh, and the gull was pure luck!!! *sheepish grin* Thank you popping in and for your very valued comments and favs on my previous uploads. You've captured another winner here Carin! I experienced fog something like this when I lived in Monterey, California some years ago. There the fog is ever present...rolls out to sea by mid morning and rolls back in late in the afternoon. Can hear the fog horns now...
