Description

I captured this little southern masked weaver in my garden a couple of months ago. They are very common in South Africa and I just love their bright coloring! This is a boy! The females are rather insignificant as it goes in the animal kingdom! (I posted another image of one of them a while ago!) The image is slightly grainy as I shot with my 500mm lens at a very high ISO as it is rather dark in the shade under the trees.
