More from my day with Sig (junge1) ... Driving across the North Cascades Highway, there are mountain peaks all around you. Every corner brings a new view, every vista is a tempting place to stop and take a picture. We decided we would stop on the right-hand side going east, turn around in Winthrop, and take pictures on the right-hand side going back west. (For my friends who drive on the left, please adjust for the idea of driving on the right ... it really does make sense this way!) There were plenty of places to stop, even so, and I remembered to turn around and take shots from every direction. I didn't want to bore you with yet another big rock every day for a week, so here's a whole bunch at one time. Besides ... this is the way one experiences the North Cascades. It's peak after peak after peak, one gorgeous corner after another after another! Don't forget to zoom. I've left this fairly big so you can get a better view.
