Description
I photographed these Gaillardia flowers a couple of days ago. The rain had momentarily stopped and the sun broke through the clouds for a brief few moments. I used my Lensbaby and its macro kit to render a soft image with a unique bokeh. The streaks and "bubble bokeh" are effects caused by the Lensbaby, not postwork. I moved around the flowers until I found the perfect compromise between a good composition and the right bokeh effects. I added some contrast and altered the colors just a touch in Photoshop.
