Description

Captured 5/25/09, at the beautiful Los Angeles National Cemetery in beautiful West Los Angeles, California. More than 86,000 veterans, going back to the Civil War, are interred there. A ZOOM will further enhance your viewing pleasure. Pretty good shots, even depicting Boy Scouts in the top foto, but I especially like the bottom picture of the young sergeant, all neat, trim and military, and despite her diminutive size -- not much over 5-foot -- still had the heart, perseverance and wherewithal to make it to NCO. The rifle really lends testimony as to her height. More pictures of her in upcoming postings. Thankx for the peek, and have a feral Friday.

Gosh Harry, she is almost dwarfed by the rifle, testimony to the brave and gallant hearted spirit of your nation. May these celebrations keep the lion hearts alive and not forgetting a colorful past. Excellently presented.
