Description
Captured 5/25/09, at the beautiful Los Angeles National Cemetery in beautiful West Los Angeles, California.
More than 86,000 veterans, going back to the Civil War, are interred there.
A ZOOM would be most helpful with this array.
Check out the tattoo on the back of the lady photog squatting on the grass in shot #4. More pics of her coming up shortly.

Taking pictures of people taking pictures of people!!! What a great idea Harry! I noticed the lady with the tatoo... I'm glad that is all that's showing!!! LOL...

Cool studies of the photographers, Harry; the young girl looks quite intent. Those lower back tattoos are thought-provoking, aren't they? Nice work as always!

I took a picture of a photographer I met when I went to Mabry Mill we had talked for a while and then he walked around to the other side of the mill and was so intent on what he was doing, it does make for a good subject. I invited him to join the group here but I haven't noticed so far if he has. I hope he will. This is great !

well I have to stop for this morning but I'll be back for more...but I couldn't stop without commenting on at least one of your memorial day shots. Partly, of course, for your revered service to this country; partly because they are wonderful arrays of humanity; and partly because of the layout, motion, and complexity of the shots themselves. The top two have opposite angles, which gives music & flow to the montage (you don't just throw these things together'); I like how the top one has the majesty of the individual small stones behind her, while the next has a large swath of the cemetery. The next two are complex people shots w/ motion & different characters in different states of interest & disinterest, and the last of them has a really nice repetition in 2 or 3 photographers all shooting at the same angle. (That hit me the first time I saw this upload.) And the bottom one, a man doing what photographers do: convoluting himself a bit, just to get the angleāa stance only a photographer would go through! I love this montage, as I love the series. I'll be back for more. (Lotta roses since I left! And bark, and planes, etc.) Great being back here...
