My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Fine photos. I recall the remarkable difference between the two sides of the mountains. It just adds to the beauty of it all.

A spectacularly strong sort of fence...it shows that timber is cheap there! Very interesting!

Love those fences, and how the old cabins are preserved by the cold and mostly dry climate. Wonderful photos.

Why do we cross the road--to get that other POV--which is just what you did here and so very well!! The fence is really cool!!

What a great duo, I love how you pieced these together, I'd love to spend a night in that cabin, awake to the smells and sounds that are all around the wonderful area.
