Description
I have captured this very traditional African hut at the Pretoria Zoo a couple of months ago. I just love the patterned stone walls!

It is one beautiful hut set within a fantastic zoo in my adopted new homeland! Although I'm temporarily out of the country and back in British Columbia my heart is with my loved one. This separation has been hard on Carin and myself however I at least have 3 month old identical twin grandaughters, another 5 year old grandaughter and a 3 year old grandson to occupy my free hours when I'm not diving. Can't wait for September!! Love the photograph...love the photographer!!

What a wonderful image esp if it means so much to you two.. I have seen the classic shape in quite a few places in Africa and guess it is no surprise to see more variety in the wall construction this is very beautifully done here.
