Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

Wonderful and thanks to you we've already got a glimpse of inside! The steeple is very special...a lot of hand craftsmanship there.

NEAT shot! The 'glow' around it is something! The last church with such I remember, was in the original, BLUES BROTHERS movie in 1980 where John Belushi's character was inside the church at the back and the SUN came shining through down onto him .... WINK. Keep On Truckin' dear beachzz .... (EDDIE KENDRICKS - Motown Singer). T.P./brian.

Great picture. I love the focused coloring and the rich filigree'd details you caught here. The structure looks light and fragile and your postwork really enhances that quality, put it "in your face" without being obnoxious about it. There is a kind of a glow to this as well that's superb. I like the almost buttery gold color as well. All in all, this is a solid piece of darn-good photography.

Also love what you have done with the sky. Love the cupola type structure on the roof. Dana
