Description

We’ve seen some mills today, and a lot of tourists to. We’ve this famous heritage of old and well preserved windmills and houses very close to the village where we live: Zaanse Schans is a neighbourhood of Zaandam, near Zaandijk in the municipality of Zaanstad in the Netherlands, in the province of North Holland. It has a collection of well-preserved historic windmills and houses. Zaanse Schans is one of the popular tourist attractions of the region and an Anchor Point of ERIH, The European Route of Industrial Heritage. Approximately 900 000 visitors in every year. The windmills were built after 1574. We’ve got the possibility to get some shots between the photographing Japanese, German, Scandinavian, and other strange talking people.
