More mills, one headless, but they’re repairing him Zaanse Schans is a neighbourhood of Zaandam, near Zaandijk in the municipality of Zaanstad in the Netherlands, in the province of North Holland. It has a collection of well-preserved historic windmills and houses. I noticed a lot of strange talking people when we were in Switzerland, Austria, and Germany. We saw some windmills just like these. Also, we were some of the strange talking people, but we really appreciated the chance to see some of the history in the windmills. Excellent image.
