Description

I made this model so that I could practice my texturing. Somewhere along the line I got carried away with the internal mechanics but I am still trying to get the UV's done so I can begin to play with textures. The model was modelled and rendered in Maya. The polygon count is up to 100,000. That includes all the grip surface detail, barrel rifling, bullet with separate projectile and primer, firing pin, screws, frame lugs etc.

Very interesting subject. The parts look to be made of plastic but, as you've indicated, you're still working on this.
