Description
Well, here's another poem I just wrote a couple minutes ago. It's about how I feel about the music I write (the picture is actually a little bit of a piece I wrote for solo voice.) It's basically saying "I don't care whether you like my music or not. I write music because that's who I am. Music is a part of me." I think I could get back into writing poetry again. I stopped writing for a very long time, (since I got into music) but I still have a passion for it.

Not unwelcome but
Unexpected nonetheless
Still,
but stirring all the same
Within.
Without
thoughts of another's reaction
Without
pity for their own
emotion
It's not your song
said I
This isn't your
Life
Illustrated on the endless pages of
Crumpled staff paper
It is me,
as no one else could.

Oh, I know just what you mean. Sometimes I write a poem or come up with a piece of art (not photography - that's too easy) and I wonder where it came from. The words, the idea comes fully formed, as if it were something I'd seen in another life. Your poem expresses it perfectly!
