Description


Stadium High School is a 100-year-old high school in Tacoma, Washington and a historic landmark. It is part of Tacoma Public Schools, or Tacoma School District No. 10 and is located in the Stadium District, near downtown Tacoma. The main building was constructed by architects Hewitt and Hewitt for the Northern Pacific Railroad Company and the Tacoma Land Company and was originally intended to be a luxury hotel. Excellent shot. A building with real style. A big thankyou for including the details of the architect. As you've so nicely shown 19th Century railway companies really did things on a grand scale.
