Description
Captured 5/25/09, at the beautiful Los Angeles National Cemetery in beautiful West Los Angeles, California.
More than 86,000 veterans, going back to the Civil War, are interred there.
Well, I saved the best photographer's pix for last. When I first saw the individual shown in the top two fotos, my reaction was, "Who or what is that dude?"
Other than his clothes and auxiliary equipment, nothing unusual about him except that he did a lot of shouting. He was taking shots of the elegant Civil War display, which I will show in days to come.
The gal in the bottom two pictures is the same one who has the tattoo on her back as depicted in yesterday's posting. In the third photo I captured her in the position of being framed between a camouflaged soldier of yesteryear taking pics of his buddy and a television reporter. A most fortuitous capture.
In the bottom shot, this looks like one world-weary individual. By her expression and body language it looks like she hadn't slept in a week. But she is colorful, what with the ridge of studs orbiting her ear and the one under her lower lip. Perhaps one on her tongue? Of equal interest are her clothes and hair. All that, plus a great pair of cameras. Maybe she was just exhausted from carrying those around.
