[best viewed full sized] Hello my friends! This pic is another from last Monday when Chrissy and I went out onto our North Welsh coast on a beautifully warm and sunny day - quite a contrast to the weather that we are currently experiencing which is cold, grey, miserable and raining. These swans were swimming in the moat on the grounds of Beaumaris Castle, Anglesey, North Wales, and we had stopped for quite a while to get a few shots of them. The picture is actually composed of two different shots as (as luck would have it) I couldnt get the mother and cygnet as close together as this in such a nice way naturally. The background has also been darkened as well as slight dodge and burn in post editing and a little tweak of the colours. I love this one, particularly the lighting. I'm glad I found it again. I saw it several weeks ago and was unable to get a moment to comment on it. I think the lighting is fabulous. I don't know how you accomplished it, but it is really other-worldly. Beautiful.
