Description


Another of my ancient pictures, taken in the days when black and white film was the norm. Aberdeen was then base for a large trawler fleet though these have now moved to Peterhead as meeting the needs of the North Sea oil industry have come to monopolise the harbour space. The trilby hats, and the dated (but practical) raincoat give a sense of time and place, as do the commercial vehicles. People are life, and settlements their setting. Cliff.
