Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

Oh, yummy--NOT! I'm sure they are quite ripe enough, but probably are more of an ornamental variety. Great shot, and I love the postwork on this!

Well, I've had to wear it more than once...LOL Quite a creative way to highlight a tree, I suppose. Do I see a Keds hanging there?

If the shoe fits, hang it on a tree??? I suppose this is a lot better than me tying old socks up! No, I'm not strange,....I wash them first! Interesting idea, cool shot!!!

This is hilarious! I now know where red shoes come from! As always, your color sense is spot on, and it's funny how the reds make me think of candy for some reason. Great work, well seen and refreshing to see. Fantastic.

catchin' up on oldies, one by one (oldies! what, 4 days old? get with it Mark!) this is a Marilyn shot if there ever was one: You find these places, they call you, you have antennae for them. When I first saw this, I thought it was hawaii—but then I saw it was your client's area. It's a wonderful shot, love the red shoes, and I like that you left the bottom half open so the branches hover over it. Exuberant & fun, and did you ever ask why they have those in their tree? (I know, you'll tell us they grow there. Well hell's bells, Mary, those are some crazy fruits!) I love it.
